SW FAB organisational structure

 

The SW FAB is composed by the following bodies:

 

SW FAB organisational Structure

 

 

The SW FAB Council :

 

Established as a joint decision-making body for the purposes of the implementation, operation and further development of the SW FAB State Agreement.

Composed of one representative from each CAA and one representative from the authority responsible for military aviation of each SW FAB State.

 

Supervisory Authorities Committee (SAC) :

 

Established as a consultative body of the Council.

Composed by one representative from each NSA, including the military authorities if not established as NSA, and one representative from the aeronautical meteorological supervisory authority of each SW FAB State.

 

Standing Secretariat :

 

Established to provide general support to the SW FAB Authorities at institutional level; mainly focused on the follow up of the Council and Stakeholder Consultation Forum (SCF) meetings.

Composed by the en-route ANSP's (ENAIRE and NAV Portugal).

 

Stakeholders Consultation Forum (SCF) :

 

Established to advise the SW FAB Council on the implementation of the SW FAB when required.

Composed by representatives of the SW FAB bodies and Working Groups appointed by the SW FAB Council and others stakeholders depending on the subjects to be treated in the SCF.

 

Operational Board (OB) :

 

Established to manage the technical and operational functioning of the SW FAB.       

Composed by one representative of the en-route ANSP, one military representative and one representative of the aeronautical meteorological service provider of each SW FAB State.

 

 

In order to accomplish with the tasks associated to the Operational Board, this SW FAB Operational Board group was structured in three subgroups:

 

Operational Coordination Committee (OCC) :

 

Established to monitor and validate the work done by the Working Groups under its umbrella and report to the OB.

 

Airspace Working Group (AWG) :

 

Established to manage the operational functioning of the SW FAB.

 

Technical Working Group (TWG) :

 

Established to manage the technical functioning of the SW FAB.
